ESTABLISHEMENT & STATUS
APHA established in 1975 and registered on 6th December 1976 as a voluntary social welfare organization is the largest organization in Pakistan engaged in the welfare and rehabilitation of the persons with disabilities (PWDs) especially physically handicapped. The affairs of the association are managed by an Executive and Managing Committee of 17 persons elected from among the disabled members every two year. It is a unique association being run and managed by handicapped themselves. APHA office is housed in "APHA CENTRE" built Gulistan e Jauhar with the help and co-operation of philanthropists and well wishers. APHA is endeavoring to eliminate the problems and difficulties faced .by PWDs in society on the basis of mutual understanding, respect and co-operationThey wait for your help
